Introducing UbuCon Asia 2021: The First Ubuntu Conference in Asia

UbuCon or Ubuntu Conference is an event organized by the Ubuntu Communities. This event is for everyone who is involved and interested in Ubuntu, Linux, and other Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) technologies. This year, UbuCon Asia will be held and organized by Ubuntu Communities and FOSS communities in Asia. UbuCon Asia is also a place for Ubuntu people from Asia to connect, learn, and share their knowledge with each other.

UbuCon Asia 2021, the first Ubuntu Conference in Asia, will be a virtual conference driven by multiple Ubuntu Local Communities (LoCos) from Asia. Join a total of 7 Ubuntu LoCos and 5 FOSS Communities from 10 regions across Asia (Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, Singapore), participating in the first Ubucon Asia from your home, and get connected to the Ubuntu Community around the world.

See the list of Host Communities: https://2021.ubucon.asia/hosts/

We have lined up some short but sweet Talks!

Our event schedule is now live! Check out our speakers, sharing their experience in using, operating, and developing Ubuntu, Linux, or other Open Source Software: https://2021.ubucon.asia/sessions/

There will be presentations in English and also open talks in several local languages (Korean, Chinese(China), Chinese(Taiwan), Indonesian) with English translations. Share in our excitement for these!

Last, but not least, although this is a fully virtual event, we still need help from sponsors to make this event actually happen, be memorable and run successfully. Become our sponsors and let’s shape out the first UbuCon Asia 2021 event! Sponsors program details and benefits are here https://2021.ubucon.asia/sponsors/become-a-sponsor/ or for further information feel free to contact sponsorship@ubucon.asia

See you at the Event and Let’s rock this first UbuCon Asia 2021!
